Idahostel Urbanscape Mural

By layering local newsprint as the ‘urban voice’, this mural begins a life of layers.  Charcoal adds line and buildings.  Inside the buildings you can make out current popular culture.

Mixing gloss medium and latex paints to create semi-transparent washes of color.

The city begins to grow.

A 12 x 8 foot wall in the entry to the Idahostel, for visitors to experience.
